Introduction:
ECL Engineered Paving Mat is manufactured using a wet-formed process, comprised of fiberglass and polyester fibers blended in an special Matrix binder. It has been specifcially designed to provide high modulus tensile strength while creating a moisture barrier to retard the effects of reflective cracking.
ECL paving mat is a hybrid fiberglass and polyester paving mat, that when impregnated in asphalt concrete, forms a water barrier to limit water intrusion in the pavement and road base.
Paving mat with unique, nonwoven, randomly dispersed fiberglass construction process, gives the pavement multi-directional tensile reinforcement. Because pavements crack in all directions, the forces that cause cracking can be reduced with the addition of paving mat in the pavement overlay application.

Features:
- Millable and recyclable:
- Improves fatigue resistance in flexible pavements
- Multi-directional stress relief interlayer
- Reduce the long-term maintenance and rehabilitation costs
- High temperature resistant to asphalt mixes

Applications:
- Overlay applications over existing asphalt and / or concrete pavement
- New construction between the asphalt layers
